partnerships with stakeholders representing the public and private sectors to ensure wide-scale impact in our
collective goal of improving healthcare outcomes around the world.
In line with the Trusts’ vision of creating institutions focussed on research and sustainable long term solutions to health challenges, IHF was conceived to accelerate progress towards the sustainable development goal of eliminating Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria. IHF does this by supporting innovation development and adoption to improve healthcare outcomes around the world. While the initial focus was on Tuberculosis, Malaria and other Vector-borne diseases, we have expanded our work to also address other communicable diseases. IHF is envisioned to be an organization which will collaborate with the private and public sectors to develop and scale up innovative solutions, business models and financing mechanisms to improve outcomes in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and eventual elimination of infectious diseases.
